Teaching the Torah by Rav Sha'ul   ROM 3:31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law (Torah). The Torah presents the need for salvation; the solution to the need is by faith in the Messiah. Without understanding the need; no one would believe or have faith in the solution. The Law is not contrary to faith; it establishes faith. Yahusha kept the Law and we are commanded to follow His example. We have His grace and forgiveness to help us keep it. There is an old teaching that addresses this specifically for all disciples. The question is asked by the disciple, “How can I keep all of God’s commandments?” The answer given by his teacher is, “One at a time.” A journey of a thousand miles is made one step at a time. Yahusha has already made the journey; He has invited us to walk with Him. That is why He offered to exchange yokes. MAT 11:29 30 Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light. Most Messianic teachers don’t know this, but the yoke Yahusha is talking about is the Torah. 1JO 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome (WE KEEP THEM OUT OF LOVE NOT OBLIGATION, WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH WHICH ACCORDING TO PAUL ESTABLISHES THE LAW). The Church would be very hard presses to justify their doctrine that the "Old" Testament of YHWH is "Old".  Yahusha clearly disagreed, he did not come to abolish but to fulfill, to make whole, to complete.  And anyone who teaches otherwise is well, a false teacher by definition of the Gospel.  There is MUCH to be desired in the the Western Christian Church.  From honoring the Sabbath to keeping the Feasts to stop worshipping Idols and the list is far to long for me to list.  It is the false religion of Rome.  There is little truth in it.  The Church did NOT replace Israel.  The New Testament did NOT replace the Commandments.  Rome is NOT the eternal City, Jerusalem is.  YHWH did NOT all of the sudden become a Trinity.  There is a Roman religion and a Hebrew religion.  I follow Yahusha, and my Hebrew roots.  I do not follow Rome. And the Commandments of YHWH are NOT OLD.  That designation was given by the Catholic Church.  We are to live by EVERY WORD that proceeded out of the mouth of YHWH.  PERIOD.  Yahusha taught the Torah.  Paul taught the Torah.  Peter, John, they ALL TAUGHT the Torah.  I hate to break it to the the Christopagan Church... there WAS NO NEW TESTAMENT at that time.  They ALL taught the Torah... and that the Messiah has come.  Neither Yahusha or Paul started a new religion.  And NONE, I repeat NONE of the covenants are voided or old.  They all build on the next and fulfill the overall plan of YHWH. It is interesting to me, that Yahusha, Paul, Peter, John and all of them kept the Torah.  Yet we follow to Pope (all of Christianity is based on Catholic teaching) into rebellion.  Last I checked, Yahusha was my example.  That should end this discussion concerning the Torah, Feasts, and Sabbath.  Do as Yahusha did.  Walk as He walked.  If you love Him, keep YHWH's Commandments.  Live by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of YHWH.  If you say you know YHWH and do not keep His Commandments you are a liar and follower of doctrines of demons according to 1 John.  They all kept the Sabbath yet we violate it.  They all declared the Shema yet we prostitute out our worship. What is "The New Covenant", it would seem to me, according to all the authors of the New Testament it is ALL the old covenants PLUS ONE... to be covered for your transgression of the Torah by the blood of the Lamb: 1 John 2 6   He that saith he abideth in him (is in covenant with Yahusha) ought himself also so to walk (be doers not talkers), even as he walked (follow Yahusha’s example… by keeping YHWH’s Commandments). 7   Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning (at the time there was no New Testament, 1 John is teaching the Torah). The old commandment (Torah) is the word which ye have heard from the beginning (given in covenants, commandments, feasts, Sabbath and that word is the Commandments of YHWH). 8   Again (here is the only new one), a new commandment I write unto you (you must believe in and be in covenant through Yahusha the Messiah), which thing (Spirit) is true in him (Yahusha) and in you (the Spirit of Truth): because the darkness (of Law without Grace) is past (shadows/portraits/prophesies concerning the coming Messiah), and the true light now shineth (the Messiah has COME!  And shown us the way unto salvation providing Grace to fulfill and make whole the Law/Torah).     Your word (Torah) is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:105 The law of the LORD (Torah) is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Psalm 19:7-10 "the law (Torah) is good, if a man use it lawfully" (1 Timothy 1:8). Paul taught regarding the role and purpose of Torah, in 1 Timothy 3:14-17. But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them; And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures (Torah, is HOLY), which (Torah) are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yahusha. All scripture (Torah, there was no NT) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.     Paul taught maturity is found in the knowledge of and application of... the Torah!   Hebrews 5:12   Spiritual Immaturity 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers (of the Torah, there was no such thing as the New Testament), you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God (what is that?  It is the Torah!); and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness (i.e. Word of Righteousness?  Itis the Torah/Law which is Holy, Righteous, and Good), for he is a babe. 14But solid food belongs to those who are of full age (mature Saints with minds set on Spiritual Law), that is, those who by reason of use (by obedience to the Law) have their senses exercised (trained by the Torah) to discern both good and evil (which is defined by the Law of God, good is obedience to His Commands, evil is breaking them).   Either Paul is a HUGE hypocrite and false teacher and master of contradiction.    OR   The Church has NO idea what Paul was talking about half the time and had mistranslated his writings.
