Replacement Theology
by Rav Sha'ul

  • Roman Christianity teaches that Rome replaced Jerusalem as the Eternal City of God...
I believe Jerusalem is the City of God.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that the New Testament replaced the Old Testament...
I believe that all books from Genesis to Revelation are still very much valid and profitable for teaching.  And that the Torah is God's "constitution" for the coming Divine Government.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that the New Covenant replaced the Torah (Old Covenant of Moses)...
I believe The New Covenant provided grace in light of our inability to keep the Torah thereby removing the "enmity" between us and the law.  The New Covenant FULFILLED or made whole the Old.  There are 7 covenants between man and YHWH... the Edenic, the Adamic, the Noahic, the Abrahamic, the Davidic, the Yahushaic, and the Eternal Sabbath Covenant.  All 7 in totality work in perfect harmony together for the good of those that love YHWH and teach mankind through progressive disclosure who God is and who we are in relationship to Him.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that the Gentiles replaced Israel (the people of God) -
"Gentile" simply means "Not Jewish" and "Jewish" means "House of Judah" which was 3 of the 12 tribes of Israel.  The "House of Israel" was the other 9 tribes and they were scattered and became the Anglo-Saxon nations of the West.  Jesus said he did not come for the Jews but came for the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.  In other words, Jesus came to bring all 12 tribes back together again.  There was no replacement.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that the traditions of men (Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.) replaced the Holy Appointed Feasts of YHWH (Passover, First Fruits, Weeks, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles).
The only holy days listed in the Bible are the Spring and Fall Feasts.  Nothing else.  NOT that I can't hang out at a Christmas Party or go to a Halloween Party... AS LONG as I keep His Ordained Feasts.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that Sunday replaced the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath.
That is nowhere to be found in the Bible.  Not that I can't meet on Sunday to worship in a corporate environment, as long as Jenny and I cook a meal and take communion every Friday night and remember the Sabbath Day on Saturday.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that Jesus was crucified on "Good Friday" -
The Bible is 100% clear that Jesus was crucified on the Passover, he was the Passover Lamb.  He was crucified in AD30 on the 15th of Abib which was a Wednesday the Passover.  Historical fact.  Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples (last supper) on the 14th of Abib as commanded by YHWH in the Torah, was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane that night, tried the next day on the 15th of Abib the Passover.  Barrabus was freed as was the Jewish custom on the Passover.  The bodies were taken off the cross before sunset because the Jews had to get home to eat the Passover meal.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that Jesus was resurrected on Sunday -
Jesus said he would spend 3 days in the grave.  Friday to Sunday is TWO days.  Besides, Jesus is called the Lord of the Sabbath because he was the Passover Lamb (crucified on Wednesday) and spend 3 days in the grave and resurrected on the Sabbath.  Mary was not at the tomb because she was home keeping the Sabbath.  The Sabbath ends at sunset Saturday and she rushed back to the tomb to find it was already empty.  He rose on the Sabbath just before sunset.  These are facts.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that the Trinity replaced the One True God YHWH. -
The word "Trinity" is nowhere to be found in the Bible.  The proper name YHWH is in there over 8,000 times (translated Lord God, Lord, or God).  A belief in the Trinity is not necessary for salvation, never once mentioned as such or at all actually.

  • Roman Christianity teaches that the name Jesus replaced the name Yahusha -
Jesus is the English translation of the Greek word Iosus which is a "transliteration" (not a literal translation) of the Hebrew vowel dissemination Yesha which was derived from Y'shua which was a later derivative of the actual Hebrew name of the Messiah... Yahusha.  Which means YHWH is our Savior.  Jesus doesn't mean anything.  That worries me because it shows that I trace my faith through Rome not Jerusalem if I use Jesus which was not his name in English or Hebrew.  Yahusha in English is Joshua.  And there is ONLY ONE NAME whereby we may be saved.  And Yahusha said many will say they knew his name and prophesied in his name... and Yahusha said he knows them not.  Very concerning to me.  So to BE SAFE... I call him by his real name.  Yahusha.  I don't want to take any chances.
